I spent this past weekend with these people, my Other Family, and it was fantastically wonderful.

This past saturday, my Bible study group made a lot of soup and grilled cheese sandwiches to feed some homeless people. The photograph doesn’t accurately show just how purple Karen’s face was after slaving over that hot cooktop.
I spent the past couple days with my bible study group at a cabin by a lake, and it was truly one of the nicest weekends I’ve ever had. Yesterday was a perfect day:
- 9:30am: wake up
- 11am: brunch (I fried 18 eggs)
- 12pm: hymn singing
- 1pm: sledding (with some injuries)
- 4pm: deep conversation + knitting
- 6pm: dinner
- 7pm: games
- 9pm: prayer
- 11:30pm: more hymn singing
- 1:30am: sleep

RECIPROCAL LOVE. Colleen is the best ever and I think the world of her. I’m having this design printed onto shirts as we speak and I’m super thrilled to have the finished products in my hands. Having talented friends is so so satisfying.
